Finally I have my rug

I got my dining room rug last week. Its been sitting rolled up in the living room. Its been annoying me. The man has been working all week but I thought he would want to get this rug down since the dog has been scratching up the floor. So today I got mad and took things into my own hands. I figured Ill get as far as I can go and tomorrow when he has to climb over things and cant sit at the table to eat, he will finish it. However I got lucky. I moved all the furniture struggling to get the table off the smaller rug that was there, all alone. I washed the floor, laid the padding down and dragged the big carpet roll to the dining room.

I cut it out of the plastic and struggled to get it laid down right. Then I fought with the big table all by myself and managed to get it pretty centered. And there's the result. Now all I have to do is finish cleaning the chandelier and talk the man into putting it up.......
 
 

So here is my girlie floral rug right in the center of my house. You cant see it here but there is some purple in the rug and that's perfect. I intend to paint the kitchen a dusty eggplant on the few walls that show and have my blue and white china high on the cabinets to decorate them. I think its all gonna go together pretty good after all.
