A Day of Thanksgiving...

Today I'm thankful for friends online. For awhile I didn't get out alot and so making friends online was a way to connect without worrying about how to do that. I don't like hanging out in bars and I don't do sports. And sometimes you just want friends to yak with not necessarily with the same common things.

And here online I meet all kinds, people with many different lifestyles and opinions,,people from other countries...

But most of all I'm thankful for the friends who stay on each others lists on here, even when we don't agree. We don't have to agree all the time. We don't have to believe what others do. But respecting others and agreeing to disagree makes for some wonderful friends. Ive seen some lately talking about deleting some people on their lists. And some have been deleted too.

Ive done that and Ive been deleted too. And I think the answer is being courteous and respectful, no matter what. And so those have deleted me, I figure are not people Id want to be around anyway. And those Ive deleted refused to be respectful decent people. Those that are left are the best. We are not all the same and yet we are. But how we treat others says alot. Those that cannot contain their anger at basically strangers on a computer, make me wonder just what they are like in real life.

My feeling is I wouldn't want them around me there either. So I'm thankful for friends who know that you have to give love and respect to get it. To those who know you visit a blog its like visiting someones home.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

  2. Good morning, my friend - Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! I'm thankful that you and I found each other here in blog land. Hopefully, we can get together face-to-face in the coming year! Looking forward to that.

  3. Oh girl...you have more Harvest than me. I have 6 boxes of Harvest and 7 of Christmas. And it is a lot, but really, I know this sounds wierd, but I am sad when I have to pack it all away. I love seeing all the pretties. But by January, I am ready for the clean emptiness...well until February..then, well, I ONLY have 1 box of Valentine, so far!
