Picture taken by my brother who works in Newark right across from all this that happened. He said he snapped a few pictures and then drove home like a maniac, just wanting to be near and with his family.
My father lives about an hr. from there and I remember him saying he could see the smoke from the towers from his house.
I woke up to a phone call from my son, saying turn on the tv mom. It was 7:30am here and the call woke me out of a sound sleep. I went to turn on the tv and said why did you make me wake up so early to show me a movie.
He said........its real mom, its real.
And I began to cry.
