Goodbye Summer
Altho the calendar says September
Your still here.

I really wish you would go
You have over stayed
Your welcome.

I loved some of the heat
While it was here
But really you just don't know when to quit.

These endless days of
Over 100 degree heat,
And me needing the AC on to breathe.

Enough already!
Go away, I need some fall.
I need rain and cooler weather.

I need to bring out my fall decor.
I need pumpkins and leaves.
I need spice candles.

Today the AC is on again.
Before noon.
Which means you will be hot again.

You are like a guest
Who just wont leave
Until your tossed out.

And so I'm asking nicely summer,
Go away, its time.
I like you but really Ive had enough.
