And so this yr there will be no decor. I have 3 Cinderella pumpkins I bought, sitting on my counter. I don't want to put them outside cuz last yr. I did and the birds pecked at the side they thought I couldn't see. And so I will just enjoy looking at them on the counter until I get a chance to roast them and puree the meat for pies and such. I'm not even sure Ill be bringing out the Thanksgiving stuff either. Ive been so busy canning this summer that the house is just a mess. And then as I was finishing up the last of the canning we came down with the flu.
I'm barely getting things done now since I have no energy....just some wash and shopping for stuff that we need. Feels sort of weird tho, no prep for any holiday. And so I promised myself no decor until I get this house clean and back to normal.....Maybe once I get some energy back Ill change my mind.......
